Lush Oberheim brass and strings
Ever wanted to stack 4 Oberheim synths on top of eachother in 36 voice unison? The Oberheims pair well with the rare Gleeman Pentaphonic Clear and the gritty Russian Polyvoks Pro (reissue) is perfect for bass or leads. Most of these synths have MIDI so this is an easy pod to create poly stacks. The Wurli 200A and Rhodes Mark 7 are here to provide a nice electronic piano counterpoint.

Oberheim Matrix 12
1985. Massive 12 voice poly. Arguably the pinnacle of the golden age of analog poly synths with almost unlimited modulation capabilities.

Oberheim OB-8
1983. Very similar to the OB-Xa but with the extensive “Page 2” controls and some slight differences in the filters. Lovely.

Oberheim OB-Xa
1981. The sound of Van Halen’s “Jump”. This was one of our first synth purchases.

Oberheim OB-X8
2022. The sound of the OB-X, OB-Xa and OB-8 in one synth. But with vastly increased functionality, including an awesome arpeggiator.

Polyvoks Pro
2018. Aggressive, edgy mono-synth. Authentic recreation of the original but with oscillators that don’t drift and added functionality. You won’t find a nastier mono synth.

Rhodes Mark 7 73
2007. This short-lived reissue of the classic Rhodes electro-mechanical piano caused more controversy than most Rhodes models, due to the way it left the factory. This one has been set up properly and we like it, but try it for yourself.

Wurlitzer 200a
1980. Classic electro-mechanical piano from the 70s and 80s. Ours is a later model in beautiful condition. Punchier and less bell-like than the Rhodes. Compare them. They live next to eachother in Pod A.

Gleeman Pentaphonic Clear
1983. Gorgeous to behold. 5 voice DCO synth with chorus and sequencer. Thick, rich, crystal-clear sound. This one put together from spare parts by the Audities Foundation in the 1990s.
Oberheim DMX
1980. One of our favourite drum machines. The sound of “Blue Monday”. Super intuitive to program and play.

Oberheim DSX
1981. A powerful sequencer that can sync and be synced to the OB-8 and DMX via Oberheim’s (pre-MIDI) Oberheim Parallel Bus. Create live performances. No computer required.
