How does a Synth Pod work?

Yamaha DX1

1983. 32 voice bi-timbral poly FM synth. Effectively 2 DX7s with a weighted 73 note keyboard with poly aftertouch. The glorious front panel displays a range of modulation settings.

Yamaha CS-80

1977. Considered the pinnacle of eight voice polys. A true performance synth with poly aftertouch and ribbon.

PPG Wave 2.3

1984. Eight voice wavetable synth with analog envelopes and filters. Brilliant for warm pads, edgy bass and glassy leads.

Korg CX-3

1979. Electronic analog clonewheel emulation of the Hammond organ and Leslie speaker. Sounds huge paired with the Ventilator rotary cabinet simulator pedal.

Buchla 406

1983. Rare six voice early digital synthesis workstation with analog filters. Connects to a computer monitor for programing, sequencing and score editing.  A Buchla with a weighted velocity-sensitive keyboar!. COMING SOON

Oberheim 8 Voice

1977. Eight voice poly. An eye and ear to behold. The word “fat” is overused in the synth world but we don’t think there is a fatter poly synth.

Yamaha CP-70B

1978. A classic electric grand piano from the 70s and 80s. The sound of Cold Chisel’s “Khe Sanh”.

Sequential Prophet 10 v3

1980. 10 voice poly. Two Prophet 5s in one. Why didn’t more manufacturers make synths with dual keyboards? It’s so useful. Built in sequencer.

Sequential TOM

1985. Four voic drum machine with 8 sampled sounds, flexible tuning and on-board sequencer. Comes with ROM cartridge with 16 additional sound banks.
